My Experience with Ephera
The first ever weight loss pill I purchased contained Ephedra as the main ingredient (this was over 10 years ago). I had gained 25 pounds with the birth of my second child and the weight was not coming off. I pushed myself at the gym and tried to eat better but I was not seeing the results I wanted so I decided to try a weight loss pill.
I researched all the different weight loss pills and I was impressed by the clinical studies done on Ephedra. Up to that point there were no reported safety issues or deaths. I picked out an Ephedra pill and was excited to lose weight. After I was done with the bottle I had lost 3 pounds, which was a disappointment. I liked the energy of Ephedra but it did not deliver the results I wanted.
Luckily I did not experience any of the serious side effects, but the little weight loss was not worth the price tag so I got another diet pill (I got Lipovox and lost over 20 pounds).
Are Weight Loss Pills with Ephedra Safe?
NO! Ephedra was banned by the FDA because of causing strokes, heart issues, liver issues, and even death with many users. Ephedra is not safe.
How Much Are Weight Loss Pills with Ephedra?
If you do decide to purchase a weight loss pill with Ephedra, there are two options available although both are risky:
- Buy an ephedra fat burner online. A bunch of online retailers purportedly sell Ephedra pills. However, there have been several complaints and rumors of counterfeit ephedra so you run the risk of just getting some sugar or caffeine pills.
- Buy an ephedra fat burner in a foreign country. Like the online retailers, there also have been claims of counterfeit and fake Ephedra pills purchased outside the country. To get ephedra fat burners back in the country will require you to smuggle the pills so that it is another risk you should think about.

Yes. Ephedra is illegal and a dangerous ingredient that has literally killed users.
Are Weight Loss Pills with Ephedra worth purchasing?
We don’t recommend weight loss pills for 3 reasons:
- It is not safe. Ephedra has been linked to serious side effects and even death and is bannedy by the FDA
- Ephedra only produces marginal weight loss (only 1 pound per month more than the placebo)
- There are much better and safer weight loss pills for cheaper prices.
